Once again there will be free computer recycling available for all residents, sponsored

benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Trenton. Girl scout troops will be collecting unwanted
Halloween costumes, broken crayons, and old cell phones, for reuse/recycling. The
Environmental Commission will also be collecting empty metal paint cans and clean
textiles (clothes, belts, handbags, shoes etc.) for recycling. For more information on
recycling, please visit the township website and click on Earth Day Fair link and select

We invite all environmentally conscientious businesses, civic organizations, municipal committees, school groups, scout troops and residents to participate in the Montgomery Twp. Earth Day Fair. Exhibits related but not limited to environmental products, household waste management, water conservation, water quality, air quality, alternative fuels, solar energy, sustainability and other eco-friendly products and services are encouraged to register. Your table should offer some information of interest to area residents on a theme of sustainable lifestyle, environmental advocacy or some other related topic. With the exception of food and drink providers, no products may be sold at the fair, though samples may be given away! There is no charge for tables, which will be provided. All tables and activities are indoors. Last year, we had over 1000 people attend the fair.
We are always looking for people or businesses to sponsor the fair or provide services or materials as a donation in kind. For example, for a number of years, free computer recycling drop-off has generously been sponsored by Johnson and Johnson Consumer Products Companies of Skillman.
Do you want to have fun while you volunteer your time and creative energy towards a good cause? Groups or individuals willing to volunteer their time are always welcome and needed for tasks such as event set-up, operation, break-down, etc.
